For those who stayed, it was a remarkable and rewarding experience.
With so many solos for various instruments, the ensemble performed the work as if it were a concerto for orchestra. Segal brought a wonderful understanding and sense of pacing to this long journey. His tempos worked beautifully. No small feat. Bravo.
